Referring to my confidential despatch of the
18th June, I have the honour to report the action taken since that date in the matter of your instructions regarding the exportation of Military Stores.

In pursuance of the Orders of the Lords in
Council, copies of which are enclosed in Mr. Harcourt's
miscellaneous despatch of the 10th May and in your circular

despatch of the June, Proclamation No.24, fifteen copies of
which are enclosed, was published under date the 23rd July; and
on receipt of your telegrams of the 12th and 13th August,
copies attached, and of your miscellaneous despatch of the 28th
Corgi June, Proclamation No.26, fifteen copies of which are annexed,
was gazetted on the 20th August.

On receipt in the Colony of the supplement to
the London Gazette No.29244 of the 28th July containing a
Proclamation consolidating the proclamation and orders at the
time in force in the United Kingdom it was decided to publish
a similar proclamation in Hongkong consolidating all previous
proclamations, with amendments and additions. I enclose fifteen
copies of this proclamation, No.28 of 1915, which was issued
under date the 17th September. It contains the following
amendments of and additions to previous proclamations.
(a). Italy is added to the countries enumerated under
heading C in accordance with the instructions contained in your
